Join us on Tuesday, Oct. 3, for an online briefing one day ahead of the most important gathering of Catholic Church leaders since the Second Vatican Council.

On Oct. 4, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, leaders from all across the Catholic world will meet in Rome for the first session of the Synod on Synodality.

The what?

Synodality is both an ancient Catholic practice and a new way for Catholics to be Church. It’s a process of listening to the whole church – the People of God – to discern what the Holy Spirit is calling us to be and to do.

Since October 2021 people around the world have been gathering at the parish, diocesan, national and continental levels to respond to a simple question: What steps does the Holy Spirit invite us to take in order to grow in our 'journeying together’? Now, beginning Oct. 4, church leaders from all across the globe will come together to listen and discuss how we Catholics have responded to that question.

We’re excited to invite you to an insightful webinar Oct. 3 on the process and its promise. This event promises to be a valuable opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of Synodality, its historical significance and the upcoming Synod's purpose and goals.
