Director, Yeshua Institute

We are honored and pleased to announce that John P. Sentovich, 57, has joined the Board of Directors of the Yeshua Catholic International Leadership Institute.

John brings to the board more than 20 years of experience in foundation and gift planning for nonprofit organizations, including both faith-based and academic entities. Until recently he was Director of Gift Planning at Northern Illinois University, and before that he served as the Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Rockford.

He recently joined Savant Capital Management in Rockford, IL, where he is responsible for creating brand awareness in the markets served by Savant. He also provides philanthropic assistance to private and family foundations and works with religious entities and clients to educate them about Catholic/socially responsible investing.

John earned a bachelor of arts degree in international marketing from California State University, Fullerton, and a master of arts degree in theology and Christian ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He met his wife, Paula, a Rockford native, in Steubenville and together they have raised four children.

John is the president of St. Vincent de Paul Society, Holy Family conference. Past service includes chair of the planned giving committee for Carpenter’s Place, a resource center for the homeless; president of the Northern Illinois Planned Giving Council; and board member of the Suburban Chicago Planned Giving Council.

Our current board members – Dick Kunnert, Fr. Dave Beauvais, my wife Jane and I – have all known and admired John and his contributions to the common good for many years, and we are delighted he has agreed to join our board.
