The vision that drives our work day in and day out is very ambitious: “Every Catholic in every walk of life leads like Jesus — as servant, steward and shepherd.”
Imagine what our homes, our workplaces, our communities and our parishes would be like if this vision is ever realized. Think of the pain and agony that would be missing from our lives – from everyone’s lives. Think of the things we could accomplish in Jesus’ name.
We know it won’t happen overnight. But in the meantime, think of the improvements that occur as ever more people – priests and laity alike – begin to Lead Like Jesus. We’ve seen it happen these past several years as more and more people become aware of the Catholic Vision for Leading Like Jesus, and especially as ever more people have the experience of participating in one of our Encounters.
Our goal is to work every day to see the process continue – and, we hope, accelerate. But we know we can’t do it alone. That’s why our Annual Appeal, now underway, is so critical to our goal of building a better church and a better world.
Early in 2016, after our appeal ends, we’ll look at the resources we have on hand and assess just how ambitious our annual goals can be it pursuit of our mission. As you may know, we are already committed to publishing our Encounter materials in Spanish in 2016. We’ll also bring you a Weekly Catholic Leader. And we’ll work hard in partnership with you to see that the list of people receiving our e-newsletter grows substantially throughout the year.
With your support, we can do even more. No donation is too small to do some serious good on behalf of our vision. So if you can spare a moment and a few dollars, we hope you’ll support our Annual Appeal today. Just click here to donate.
